Venue & Suppliers

  • Research suitable venues and provide venue comparison report to Committee
  • Organise site inspections with preferred venue(s)
  • Negotiate value adds and best contract conditions
  • Ongoing liaison with venue in regard to event logistics, programme, catering, floor plans and room requirements
  • Provide advice on menu selections, including co-ordination of any special meal or cultural requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive event order and ensure venue provided information matches
  • Organise pre-event meeting between AEM and venue/supplier to run through all aspects of the event

Audio Visual (AV)

  • Provide advice to Committee on AV requirements
  • Provide proposal request to AV company
  • Prepare AV requirements briefing for AV company
  • Liaise with graphic designer for event PowerPoint template
  • Onsite, manage AV provider and presenters
