Christine Shaw, DipBus

Prior to commencing with Absolute Events & Marketing in January 2008, Chris Shaw had many years of administration experience within government and the private sector and has a high customer service focus.  Throughout her career, she has held many positions including Administration Assistant, Personal Assistant, Team Leader and Executive Officer, and has extensive experience  organising  airline bookings, accommodation and social functions.   Chris and Susan have previously worked together on conferences ranging from 200 to 750 people.  Chris has a Diploma of Business with the Australian Institute of Management. 

 

Chris’ strengths lie in her ability to co-ordinate many projects at once – all while providing an extremely high level of customer service.  Her relationship building skills with clients, sponsors/exhibitors, speakers, delegates and suppliers is invaluable to the success of the events we manage and to the sponsorship income levels achieved. 

 

She manages the registration functions (along with delegate liaison), speaker arrangements and the logistics involved with the sponsors and exhibitors.  Chris’ friendly and efficient nature ensures excellent service is provided, along with efficient co-ordination of the administration aspects of the events.  

 

Chris has co-ordinated a large number of events (conferences, workshops and forums) very successfully.
